10th Anniversary Celebrations

  • Tuesday, 25th May

AGM, followed by Celebratory Buffet Supper. All Volunteers, Friends and Supporters, past and present, will receive an invitation.

Volunteers' Study Day

  • Tuesday, 1st June

Volunteers' Study Day. Current and "retired" members will be joined by volunteers from the Dumfries Centre. The afternoon session will feature a party with birthday cake!

Bake a Cake Day!

  • Wednesday 28th July

Bake a Cake Day! We've taken a stall or two in the craft marquee at the Stranraer Show. Everyone is invited to bake a favourite cake and persuade three friends to do the same. Bring the cakes along and they'll be sold in aid of Centre Funds

Complementary Therapy

  • Available at the centre

We are offering up to 6 free reflexology sessions for any client or carer who attends the centre. Reflexologist is Catherine Burns.

Psychological Services In Cancer Care

  • Available at the centre

Anyone who has a diagnosis of cancer and is registered with a GP from within Dumfries and Galloway.

This service gives the opportunity to talk through concerns and helps understand emotional reactions. Also helps identify coping skills and develop further coping strategies.
